Our Design Team

Sue Eldred

I am a DIY, paper crafting, picture taking, creative kind of gal.  (also kind of an organizing nut)  I love to find good junk to re-purpose into great treasures.

Nadine Carlier

Hello, my name is Nadine Carlier and I have been crafting for about 19 years now with scrapbooking, handmade cards, mixed media, and altered art projects being my favorite things to create although I have done and love all things crafty. Well, almost all things crafty, I am not a fan of sewing. I would say my style would best be described as eclectic with a mixed media twist. Almost all my craft projects have some kind of ink, mist, paste or paint on them. I love getting messy, trying new techniques, making video tutorials, inspiring others and being inspired. There are so many talented and inspiring crafters out there and I am happy to be a part of this fabulous crafty community.

Morena Hockley

Italian born and bred, Morena Hockley is the kind of girl who would rather have paint on her fingers than get a manicure. The daughter of two DIYers, she and her husband strive to pass the tradition and value of handmade to their four children. Morena’s passion is using thrifted and inexpensive finds to craft designer-inspired creations, and she excels in creating colorful, bold pieces. She’s dubbed her styleretro-bold. As a former teacher, her blog is like her virtual classroom.

Carrie Hurst

Carrie Is a born and bred Ohio girl, who loves to adventure through life with her high school sweetheart as they raise twin boys and a princess girl.  An orange tea sipper by day, wine drinker by night, she shares her creative side on A Princess and Her Pirates.  When she is not creating something for their home or baking up a new recipe in the kitchen, she is planning her next Disney adventure and spreading pixie dust to everyone she meets!

Michelle James

Michelle lives with her husband in Northwest Iowa.  They have two grown boys and have been empty nesters for a few years now.  She owned and operated a retail scrapbook/rubber stamp store for 11 years. Since closing her store Michelle created her blog Michelle James Designs where she teaches DIY, home decor and crafting using budget friendly products such as thrift store, garage sale and dollar store items.  She loves mason jars, drop cloths and creating with her Silhouette Cameo.

Heather Northington

Hi guys, my name is Heather. I am the owner of Daily DIY Life blog. I have been crafting with vinyl for 3 years. I love the versatility, and the wide variety of projects that can be done with vinyl. I am 45 years old, 4 children, 1 beautiful granddaughter. I was born and raised in New England but currently live in a tiny town in West Virginia. Besides crafting, in my spare time I drink a lot of coffee and I love to try new recipes.

Susie Bentz

I am a crafter at heart and have been creating all my life! I started scrapbooking in 2007 when I created a wedding album as a gift and it has truly become my passion. It is my creative outlet and my therapy! I enjoy all kinds of paper crafting – making cards, exploding boxes and altered items for gifts and home decor. My favorite thing to do right now is to create mixed media canvases and explore art journaling. Most recently I have been playing with gel printing, stencils, and texture tools – I may be an addict!
My style tends to be classic with a modern twist. I like layers and texture. I am a huge fan of die cuts and chipboard and paint and ink and stencils and bling and resin and washi tape and wood veneer and flowers and ribbon and charms…okay – I like to play with everything!
I have found so many wonderful friends through scrapbooking! One of my favorite quotes is from Leo Buscaglia, “Your talent is God’s gift to you; what you do with it is your gift to God.”
